Journaling is an activity which has numerous benefits to a person. It has been shown to reduce stress, alleviate the symptoms of asthma and arthritis and boost your immune system. It also a terrific way to create a deeper connection with your true self and to manifest the things you want to bring about in your life. To some it may seem like a difficult habit to start but it is really quite easy because there is no wrong way to do it. Some people may write diligently for 30 minutes a day while others may only write a sentence a day or sporadically when they are inspired. When you put your thoughts down on paper they become real, tangible, physical things with more permanence. How many times have we had good intentions that we didn't follow through on because we got distracted by other thoughts? We we write our intentions, goals, and desires down we are giving ourselves and the Universe a permanent reminder and we are more likely to follow through with bringing those things into reality. It is best to keep a special journaling notebook for this activity - You are special and your thoughts are significant, they should not be written in the same place as your disposable grocery lists. The topics you can write about are endless - what inspires you? A Gratitude journal is a really easy one to start with and as we know - the quickest way to get the things we want is by showing gratitude for the things we have!
